Gaiam is named for the Earth, so it's natural that the company is leading the way in green product initiatives for the home entertainment industry. “Gaiam” is a fusion of the Greek name for Mother Earth, Gaia, and the phrase “I am.” Fittingly, the company has begun a new DVD line called Green Solutions, a collection of instructional titles on how to go green.
