Lisa Loeb on digital music 'biz, new technology - June 6, 2008

There's a great interview over at Hypebot with singer-songwriter Lisa Loeb while she was attending the Digital NARM show last month. The interview comes courtesy of Laurence Trifon of Trifonic.

Loeb appears to really have embraced the digital music business and has some insightful things to say about online marketing for indie artists, 360 deals, AmieStreet, new technology and copyright issues.

I've always liked the folk-rock style and there are definitely a few Loeb records in the collection. I love the musical fact that she released her first single, "Stay," from the film Reality Bites, before she was signed to any record label and it hit #1. Nice!
