Say hello to FYIMusic.ca, a new online digital independent news source focusing on the Canadian music industry. The new site aims to provide music industry news, event information, and a spotlight on Canadian performers. FYI went live April 7th, the day following the annual Juno Awards, Canada's version of the Grammys - only better. FYIMusic.ca is helmed by veteran Canadian music journalist David Farrell and its weekly summaries of top news stories will be distributed by its technology partner, Toronto-based Yangaroo through their digital media distribution technology to everyone from industry insiders to musicians across Canada.
