With the latest installment of the Indiana Jones series hitting theatres this week I have been looking at a lot of websites about the venerable action-hero and popular film franchise.
Not sure when I'll see "Kingdom of the Crystal Skull," but it looks promising. Here's a quick round-up of reviews via WSJ.com.
It's not like 27 years-ago when "Raiders of the Lost Ark" opened.
Wow, I love that movie. The subsequent two films had their moments, but the original remains one of my favorite action-hero flicks. So in honor of the new movie, and the classic original, I have found (thank you, YouTube up-loaders!) a copy of the trailer for "Raiders of the Lost Ark."
Think the Hollywood movie trailer business has changed? Wow, talk about your pacing. This trailer might as well be 50 years-old compared with the frenetic style we see today in promoting films.
Still, it’s a great flashback trailer, and it's getting me jazzed about the new adventures of Dr. Jones!
