Online video startups grab big bucks - April 25, 2008
There seems to be no slowdown in sight for online video startups wrangling cash from venture capital firms. NewTeeVee's Liz Gannes reports on the influx of VC cash continuing to pour into online video startups, via a report from Dow Jones VentureSource who crunched the numbers."Some $460.5 million was invested in such startups in 2007, up from $266.9 million in 2006. And already, in the first quarter of 2008, another $217.3 million rained down on the category."
