The Police declare “Certifiable” exclusivity

Count The Police as the latest band to go “exclusive.” In the most recent example of what has become the increasingly common practice of superstar acts signing away exclusive rights for distribution of their recordings to a single retail outlet, The Police will offer it’s upcoming live release "Certifiable" exclusively through mega-retailer Best Buy.

"Certifiable" was recorded last December in Buenos Aires, as part of the band’s record shattering reunion tour. That tour comes to an end with tonight’s (August 7) performance at Madison Square Garden. Best Buy will be broadcasting the encores from that show live on it’s website, beginning at 10:45 EST.
