WireLogic greens packaging for home theater cables

April 7 | WireLogic, a supplier of home theater ancillary products, will offer its entire line of products in eco-friendly packaging by the end of the year.

Going forward, the company will use polyethylene terephthalate in its packaging for audio/visual cables. The material breaks down in the environment more quickly than others. In addition, WireLogic will use recyclable paper products and bubble packaging instead of clamshell to reduce the amount of plastic being used.

Bill Boyer, sales VP for WireLogic, said the company's move to green its operations comes in response to green initiatives implemented by retailers.

WireLogic began using green packaging in mid-January. As part of a larger initiative by parent company Quest Group, WireLogic will switch over entirely to eco-friendly packaging for its products.
